RPC Server Error I was having the same problem. I discovered that the RPC service was running on a local account. I changed it, and am having no more problems at all. If you do not know how to use regedit, do not attempt this! I recommend backing up the registry prior to any changes. Instructions: Regedit. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RpcSs Verify that the ObjectName Data value is set to NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService On my server it was set as a local account. Questa soluzione è sata proprio un toccasana, non risucivo ad installare un agent da remoto sul server, in pratica l’installazione originale di 2003 metteva il servizio di RPC solo sull’account locale, con questa modifica al registro lo si mette sui servizi di rete.
